Wait until 350 rocks Burlington's Battery Park on Saturday, September 27th! In an event which hopes to combine the spirit of a political rally, with a celebration of Vermont's leadership in the climate movement, that day will be centered around the most important number in the world (350, duh!), political action towards climate change (at all levels of society - from individual to local, state, federal and international) and a call for green jobs!

Come listen to author and founder of 350.org, Bill McKibben, hear from Vermont politicians, eat ice cream and dance to some great music, witness a performance art piece with over 100 volunteers, and demand action on climate change and energy issues!

Hey, are you a yogi?  Then join other Vermont yogis on the 27th in 350 simultaneous headstands. We're trying make a spectacle of activists "taking a stand" for climate change. If you're interested contact Kendra Myers at kenderbender@gmail.com

So mark your calendars and when you're planning your transportation, think about walking! Gather a group of friends and neighbors and show your 350 support as you head to the event! From another part of Vermont? You can still take part in the walk! Just carpool, park and walk! Questions? Send them to 350vermont@gmail.com.

Hope to see you there!  But in the meantime check out 350.org to learn about the world's most important number.
