10% School Challenge

On October 10th, we are going to take part in the final day of the Athens Green Design Festival. At the festival, we will be engaging the public with fun activities such as giving them a chance to ride a bicycle that generates the electricity to power a stereo system, asking "pop quiz" questions about climate change (and giving prizes!), and holding a scavenger hunt for people to identify recyclable versus non-recycable items around the festival. Additionally, we will be launching a competition (as part of the international 10:10 initiative) for 10 public schools to reduce their carbon footprints by 10%.
