10/10 March for Climate Action
Sunday, 10 October, 2010 - 12:30 - 13:30
Tell our country and MSU's administration that we no longer think fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas are the solution to our energy problem. Join us in a march to fight for our right to a clean future- we want an energy revolution now!
HOW IT WILL GO DOWN???
•We will be meeting in the south complex courtyard (behind case) at 12:30.
•Next, we will be rolling on to the T.B. Simon Physical Plant to show our dissatisfaction with MSU's fossil fuel consumption.
•Finally, we will march towards the Hannah Administration building and we'll finish off with a photo op!
Wear white to symbolize the clean future we're fighting for!
Get Up, Stand Up, March Out!

Event Host: The Greenpeace Michigan State University chapter's mission is to organize and plan a campaign that puts pressure on our school's administration. We are fighting to get the large, expensive, and dirty coal plant that powers our school shut down and replaced with carbon neutral, clean energy like wind and solar. Michigan State is ran too much like a business and not enough like a university- we are demanding transparency from the administration, honesty from the administration, and a real plan to make our campus more sustainable fb page: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=169389799045&v=wall
