10/10/10 "Cut Your Carbon" Party.

We're going to take the challenge of pledging to cut our (individual and collective) carbon emissions by 10 percent over the next year. You can join us from any location, at any time; we have several options:

1. Take the New England Carbon Challenge at http://necarbonchallenge.org/; or any similar carbon challenge and pledge to reduce your "footprint" by 10 percent.

2. If you are really averse to doing those kinds of calculations, pick at least one simple goal for the next year (using a clothesline, buying local). You can get tips here: http://www.sustainableunh.unh.edu/faculty_staff.html

3. Join our local food drive to benefit the Cornucopia food pantry in Durham: http://www.unh.edu/campusministry/. They'll take fresh veggies and meats from local farms, which you can find here: http://www.seacoasteatlocal.org/

4. Stick around after you drop off your food at Barth Farm in Lee (12-3) to EAT some local food, enjoy some local community, and strategize about keeping our momentum going.
