Dianne Dumanoski, author of The End of the Long
Summer, will discuss how our current civilization not
only drives the climate emergency but also increases
our vulnerability to the consequences. The challenge of
climate change is not simply a question of replacing
fossil fuels with less destructive forms of energy.
Equally urgent is the question of how to live through
the climate disruption that is now unavoidable.

Following the talk and q&a session, join us for a complimentary dessert and visit the tables of information on ways we all can improve our lives and lessen our carbon footprint. There are many ways that we can join with all those around the globe who are getting to work and making a difference in their communities.
