101010 Green Weekend Celebration

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on October 9, 2010 NVCCU Recycling Company will have its
"Cash for Trash" truck parked at the Sammy Davis Jr. house to help with
a community service project. Everyone is invited to bring unwanted items to the house for recycling. They will come to your house for large items, just call (702) 646-2551
Volunteers will be cleaning the yard, painting the fense and house.
On 10/10/10 you are invited to all day celebration with entertainment by Voltage Gospel Music Group that has rock, rap, dance, poets, and praise and does live Christ battles. Tabia Mawusi will be demonstrating her talent as an actress and will be expressing her feeling through word of mouth. Youth is a big priority in this community and it will show at this event with KC and Nutty performing their new single. Toxsicc will also be performing with his team of people to motivate him in what he does best. Kesha Lu is an R&B and pop singer and has sang with Flavas and now going it on her own shining her talent upon us. The Truth rabb and Swag will be rapping this October 10th. One of the events highlights will be Saul Haro, owner of NVCCU who will brighten the mind of the many that will come and witness his talent.

We will distribute green information and resources, Bar b Q, Entertainment and prizes.

Politicians campaigning for office are invited to our "Soap Box" at $10 dollars for 10 minutes.

How to Get Involved Planning the Event: Green Exhibitors are urged to contact. We want to showcase hybrid vehicles, energy savings programs, green jobs opportunities, Green Training Schools,Solar manufacturing and installation, etc. Free Vendor Space. Volunteers bring gloves, rakes, etc to help "green" the Sammy Davis House.
