10.10.10. Woodwynn Work Party - Plant a Tree at Woodwynn Farms!

The Global Work Party is happening locally at Woodwynn Farms! We are looking for DONORS to help us raise funds for 350 fruit and nut trees to be planted at Woodwynn on 10/10/10. And, we’re looking for volunteers to come out to the Farm on 10/10/10 to plant a few trees!

Just like “barn-raising” gatherings in the days of old, this is going to be an exciting, empowering, and FUN experience for all involved. This initiative will bring our local community together for a common cause – to help Woodwynn Farms to initiate a food-producing orchard!

Call to Action! We need DONORS - BIG DONORS - local businesses, organizations, community groups to purchase 10 or more trees. We have created a donor page on our website to acknowlege these major contributors and we would love to host many more!

Your donation (average of $50 per tree) will help cover the following costs:

* The purchase of 350 fruit and nut trees supplied by Le Couteau Farm
* transportation of trees to the site
* soil nutrients
* site preparation
* drip irrigation installation
