10/10/10 Worship, Festival, and Greener Travel Week

On Sunday, October 10th our congregation will join with people around the world for a day of action on behalf of our Earth. We invite everyone to attend our worship service at 10:30 a.m., and to kick off a Greener Travel Week by traveling there in lower carbon ways. After the service, join in the green fun with coffee and refreshments outdoors where you can enjoy greener foods, learn about bicycles (with Ace Wheelworks Somerville), and explore ways to help lower carbon in your life and community. Beginning at 2:00 we’ll have a group bike ride and will screen the movie Renewal, which is about the religious environmental movement. Events are coordinated with town-wide 10/10/10 programs.
