10/10/10 Walk or Ride, Just Don't Drive for 350!

Arlington Heights Cool Cities Coalition and the Arlington Heights Bicycle Advisory Commission are joining efforts to get the word out and get all of us outside on 10/10/10.
Sign up to walk, bike, or run to the store, church, work, park or around the block. Just get out and DON'T drive.
We're gathering up at LEAST 350 people to get out and NOT drive on 10/10/10. Although we don't plan on going door-to-door to check out if you support this, we are working to get at least 350 commitments to sign up throughout the town - churches, businesses, restaurants, parks, etc.
HERE'S OUR GOAL:
At LEAST 350 more people will know about 350.org, Arlington Heights Bicycle Advisory Commission and our local Arlington Heights Cool Cities group. Arlington Heights Cool Cities Coalition is working to reduce carbon emissions locally. (And burn a few calories, if you've got any extra).

You can also contact us to get a sign up sheet and flyer - bring one out the next time you're shopping and ask the company to participate. Event Host: Arlington Height Cool Cities Coalition is a group of residents, businesses, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Chamber of Commerce, Arlington Heights Park District, several schools, churches - all supporting reducing carbon emissions in Arlington Heights, Illinois below 1990 levels. Arlington Heights Bicycle Advisory Commission is working hard to promote bicycling in and around Arlington Heights.
