2010 App State Wales Program Carbon Offset Day

The 2010 Short-term study abroad trip to Wales, UK. is a carbon offset program. While in country the students used service, outdoor adventure and sustainability as a lens to explore the country. Now that we've returned home, we are offsetting the carbon emissions from our travel by planting trees in Elk Knob State Park and helping the forest reclaim an old road bed.
This event is also a reunion for the group who traveled abroad and is by invitation only. Please contact me if you'd like to know more about doing a similar activity or doing reforestation work with the State Park.
