350 Bike Parade
Project:
Organize a bike parade to demonstrate the joys of sustainable transport.

Vehicle traffic is one of the most obvious, and annoying, causes of climate change. Yet in many urban areas this problem has a perfect solution: bicycles! Some cities, such as Copenhagen, have great bike lanes and 32% of people get to work by bike. Imagine how many cars, and how much traffic, that takes off the roads. Organizing a bike parade can be as easy is setting a date and time and asking people to come with their bikes - then go for a ride. It helps to build community and visibility for bicyclists.

Materials:
Just Bicycles! You can also get creative and make flags for your bikes, bicycle license plates, funny hats, garbage instruments, patches or just ask everyone to come in costumes. You can also bring horns or boomboxes to have some music. That way you will be sure to get attention.
