Solar Sublimation of the U.S. Dollar: Checkmate

We intend to do a climate direct action with fellow burners at the Burning Man Decompression party in San Francisco, CA on 10/10/10. Our action is called: "Solar Sublimation of the U.S. Dollar: Checkmate".

We'll use a simple "solar fresnel laser" to create art out of US currency, to send a simple message to Washington DC, Sacramento and San Francisco's City Hall as a collaborative project on this international day of climate action on 10/10/10. The message is simple: We can strengthen national security and ensure economic vitality by investing and acting smartly with a clean thriving environment and the global people in mind or myopically allow the value of our currency, the U.S. Dollar to sublimate into mediocrity.
