Como ya saben, la semana pasada les pedimos que se unieran a 350 y enviaran mensajes a los líderes de los ocho países más poderosos del mundo ya que, a día de hoy, son ellos los responsables de más del 62% de las emisiones de CO2 a la atmósfera.

Como consecuencia, miles de ustedes enviaron mensajes a estos políticos en seis idiomas distintos y, esta semana, nuestros amigos de Avaaz y Oxfam harán que todas esas firmas lleguen a las habitaciones de hotel de los delegados del G8 en Hokkaido, Japón, de modo que nuestras voces lleguen hasta ellos.

Last week we asked 350ers to take action on climate by sending a message to the leaders of the 8 richest countries in the world -- those nations are responsible for more than 62% of human-produced CO2 in the atmosphere.

Thousands of you sent messages to those leaders in six different languages, and this week, our friends at Avaaz and Oxfam will deliver those signatures to the hotel rooms of each G8 delegate in Hokkaido, Japan, so they will hear your voices.

来週、世界で一番裕福な8カ国の首脳たちがここ日本に集い、G8サミットを開催します。今年は、気候危機が議題のトップに上げられています、世界の 脳たちに責任を課すことができる、またとない機会です。

今が気候変動問題を先導する時だと、G8に伝えるため、助けを貸してください。

2008年度のG8の交渉はまたうわべだけの約束になってしまう可能性もありますが、安全な世界の将来を導く最初の一歩となるかもしれないのです。世界を350と安全な気候への道に向かわせるには、一番賢く、一番公平で、一番早い道がよいのです。首脳たちをぐずぐずしているのを許してはいけません、今すぐ始めることを求めなければならないのです。
