"The Future Picture" event

Time: From 8am to 11 am Oct 10, 2010
Place: University of Economics and Finance campus
214 Pasteur Street, Ward 6, District 3, HCMC
Estimated number of participants: 400
Main activities:
- Exchange the old books for eco-bag: if everyone brings 3 books to the event, he would have an eco- bag. The books would be built up a library to help the poor children in Mekong Delta region. This is our project in future to raising children awareness in the South East of Vietnam.
- Flashmob: we bring environmental messages into its movements and lead the participants to follow in rythm.
- Drawing:
+ "How is your future?": People draw their hope and their future life in the relationship with environment.
+ "350 and you": This picture are being made from used bottles and many kinds of plastic stuff. Then we color it and say "Cheese" in front of camera :)
+ "1000 year- old Thang Long": Oct 10th is not only a beautiful day but also a special occasion in Vietnam when we celebrate 1000th anniversary for Hanoi capital. So this picture is somehow like a present from HCMC to Northern of Vietnam.
- Launching the national campaign (We do focus on this point)
+ Be a veg: Sign up to " Be a Veg at least one time per month"- Enjoy a non- meat lunch.
+ 26 degree:( It is a campaign which encourage community adjust the air-conditioning degree to 26 or higher so that we use air- conditioner in effective way) participants answer questions. If having right one, he received a "26 degree" keychains (it is made from wood we collect from dead branches and contained 26 logo as a reminder)

Celebrities: Ms Huong Giang- Miss Grand Slam Asia 2009 are invited to this event.
