The Green Moms Carnival and the 10-10-10 Global Work Party - Climate Change Connections From your own Perspective -
Sunday, 10 October, 2010 (All day)
The mission of the Green Moms Carnival is to unite bloggy voices around one environmentally-conscious theme per month, knowing that if we repeat the same green messages at the same time, it increases the likelihood that our eco-conscious messages will be heard, understood and adopted by more people.
This month, in support of 10/10/10 we unite behind our collective voices to raise attention and promote action on climate change. In New York, Baltimore, San Francisco and beyond. We unite all over the US to help support 350.org and to remind people to "get to work" from their own perspectives, and within their own groups and communities.
Open Participation is Always welcome. Check out the prior month’s carnival for a description of the next month’s carnival topic. Post about the topic on your blog and submit your link with a brief description of the post, to this months host. See the GreenMoms Carnival link for more information on submissions. Submissions should be sent to email@example.com.

Event Host: We are a very diverse group of green women bloggers and we like it that way! We’re at different stages of our green journey. For instance: Some of us drive SUVs, some drive Priuses (or don’t drive at all). Our blogging approach is very different too: a few of us are among the top affiliate and internet marketers on the web, whereas others allow no advertising at all on their blogs. Some do blog tours, and others don’t do reviews at all. Some of us are Moms, whereas others are not. What unites is our desire to use the power and reach of our blogs to discuss topics of common environmental concern. It’s the oldest trick in any marketers book: message repetition. By repeating our messages together – the same topic at the same time – we can reach more people than we ever could individually with a basic message of: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse (and Avoid toxins and plastics!) and in this case, support 350.org and raise your voice for action on climate change! To participate in our 350.org event, submit your post for possible inclusion in this month's carnival to: info (at) www.climatemama.com
