March Against Prop 23 and Texas Oil

Sunday, 10 October, 2010 - 11:30 - 12:30

California already passed one of the toughest anti-global warming laws in the world (AB 32, passed in 2006), and right now, it is in danger. Texas oil companies Valero and Tesoro are spending millions to fund Proposition 23-- a deceptive ballot initiative to gut AB32. We can't let them get away with it.

Join us for a rally at the Valero gas station on the corner of Alameda and 5th Street at 11:30am. Then at noon we'll march to raise awareness about No on Prop 23 to the Los Angeles City Hall through CicLaVia and join the 'Kick Coal and Oil out of LA' rally on the south lawn.
