10/10/10 Global Work Party at Minsteracres Peace Garden

We are joining 10/10/10!

Together with Tynedale Transition Town we are organising a community day in the Peace Garden. It will start at 10.00 am in the Youth Centre with tea from our own herbs and Fairtrade coffee. This will be followed by information about the Peace Garden. The day will consist of a short meditation in the garden, building a compost bin with plastic bottles, harvesting potatoes and vegetables, picking apples making a very tasty lunch of our own home grown fruit and vegetables and having fun.

You are all very welcome to join us for the whole day or just for a couple of hours. It’s for all ages and please bring along family, friends and neighbours.

Location is Minsteracres Retreat Centre. We are on the A68 between Corbridge and Consett. DH8 9RT. It is signposted. Go up the drive for a mile and you will see the Peace Garden at your right
