We will gather at the new Center Street Bridge in downtown Des Moines and kick off the morning with a breakfast potluck and a photo shoot spanning the river. From there, we will embark on a bike ride together and wind up at the Downtown Community Garden (at SE 6th St and Scott Ave) to build compost bins on site.
Please bring breakfast food and/or drinks to share and a bicycle to ride!
How to Get Involved Planning the Event: If you have other work party venues or tasks in mind, please feel free to suggest them -- after the potluck and the bike ride, we could splinter off into a few groups : DCG compost bin constructors and otherwise...
