Bike Cavalcade Around Salisbury to Get Global Warming and 350.org Before the Public

WE HAVE A BIKING ACTION PLANNED FOR 10/10/2010

Concerned citizens around "Delmarva" (Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay) will support the global initiative to reverse Global Warming on 10/10/2010 with a bike cavalcade between the Library downtown and the University -- several trips. The cavalcade will begin at the Main Library parking lot downtown (122 S. Division St.) starting at 12:00 Noon, and will be repeated using alternating routes. The action will end at 4:00 pm. (Our former idea for an action has evolved into a biking action instead, due to lack of enthusiasm for the previous action).

Please arrive at the Main Library in downtown Salisbury between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m. at the library parking lot. "350.org" stickers will be distributed, which can be affixed to the back of your shirt or jacket.

Please call or e-mail me if you intend to join us for this ride on 10/10/10, or if you'd like to support our effort in some other way (Chris – 410-845-6801). I’d like to get a sense of how many people will be there. I also have info. about the most recent scientific studies on global warming, and other resources. After the ride, we'll go to a local restaurant to "celebrate" our resolve to help reverse global warming. I'll let you know where that will be when you contact me.

Thanks for caring – we need to really fight this now – time is growing short, as global temperatures head toward "the tipping point." Yikes!!
