No on 23 - Picket Valero Gas Stations

On Sunday, 10 October we will picket several Valero gas stations in our vicinity. We will meet at Neighborhood Church at 1 PM and then fan out to the nearby stations. We will have some signs, but feel free to bring your own. Valero is one of the two Texas oil companies which drafted this proposition and who are the major funders. If passed, this proposition will kill California's landmark climate legislation, increase air pollution with adverse health effects, and continue our addiction to oil.

If you arrive late, you can go directly to the Valero Gas Station at 718 Fair Oaks Ave, South Pasadena, CA, 91030. It is 3.4 miles south of Neighborhood Church and just South of the 110 Freeway.

On Saturday, 9 October we will have a work party at the Church where we will prepare signs and also do various mulching and gardening tasks.
