350.org and the City of Bloomington Parks and Rec Party

Sunday, 10 October, 2010 - 13:00 - 15:00

Date: Sunday, October 10
Time: 1-3 p.m.

In conjunction with Bloomington Parks & Rec, this 350.org 10/10/10 work party will focus on invasive species ID and removal.

Weather: This is an outdoor project. If the weather is uncooperative, most likely the project will cancel.

For last minute information, you can contact Steve Cotter at 325-0812.

Attire: I would suggest your group wear clothing appropriate to the weather and ones they don't mind getting a little dirty. We also request that everyone wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

What to bring: If you have work gloves, please bring them with you. I would suggest bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated and bug spray.

On-site Supervisor: When you arrive, your On-Site Parks and Recreation Supervisor will there to greet your group. Kevin Marzahl will be your on-site supervisor. Please give your forms to him.

How to Get Involved Planning the Event: Please e-mail me at dekehager@sbcglobal.net for the trails beautification and invasive species removal. Contact the orchard group for that event, though we may end up there after we finish our party.
