Plant a tree @ storetorv in Aarhus, Denmark.
Sunday, 10 October, 2010 - 10:00 - 14:00
The Greenpeace local group in Aarhus will inform the people of Aarhus about how to save the climate through a personal low-carbon and climate-active lifestyle. But as the climate won't be saved by individual changes alone, we will also offer a way for everybody to send out a strong demand for a 100% renewable energy future to the political decision makers in Denmark!
A first step to saving the climate can be done right away: "Plant a tree for the climate!" is the motto of our stall! We will invite all those people passing by, to plant a tree, take it home and grow it big! This symbolical tree will be a long lasting reminder for all the good climate resolutions that people made on 10:10:10! We will of course also inform all new tree-owners about the good impact their tree has on the climate!
Come to Storetorv in Århus and claim your own tree and start changing our climate. Every tree counts!
