Repurposed T-shirts and totes
Thinking about t-shirts that don't fit or your never wear after the 'occasion' you acquired it...don't be sentimental about it, rather repurpose it as a 350 conversation piece. Rework the classic shape into a tank top, totebag, pillow or some other item that's useful to you or to others. Thinking about screenprinting a message that can be appliqued onto the shirt to cover or complement what's already there. Please feel free to adopt this idea as it might be awhile before I can get some sample ideas posted. I work at a University and think these would be a great sustainability and/or earth day project/fundraiser, as well as an opportunity for design students to stretch their imaginations...this will be fun!
