Sending CO2 to the Crapper

As part of Environmental Science class at Allegheny College, our group decided to make a mosaic of the earth out of porcelain pieces. We used old toilets (that were going to be thrown out) and painted on them images of carbon dioxide emitters. We asked students to help us smash the toilets, which allowed us to raise awareness and explain the importance of the number 350 and the website 350.org. The smashed porcelain pieces were arranged into a mosaic of a clean Earth. The mosaic will hopefully be hung in the natural science building at Allegheny College for all to see!
