Work Party on Sergelstorg

A core group from Tcktcktck Sweden, including Swedish Klimataktion (Climate Action), Greenpeace, WWF, Fältbiologerna, Klimax, and others have booked the central square Sergels Torg in Stockholm for the whole day. The program is not fully set, so there is still space for more groups to join!

Program 12am - 5pm (12-17):

- The Big Flash Mob & Swop Party, A mass performance including flash mob, dance and thing swop starts at 2pm

- Klimatförmedlingen AB, "Climate Recruitment Agency", imitating a job service for individuals who want to do something for climate, but don't know where to start - all day

- Stadsodling och lokal omställning, urban gardening and local transition - Vinterviken's urban gardening group will present their work. all day

- Greenpeace: Subway flash mob + Sun, wind, water bike mob - come join GP activists dressed as Renewable Energy Sources, bring your bike to Södermalmstorget at 1 pm for a ride, ending up at Sergels torg at about 1.55 pm.

- WWF Panda dance - Join us for a simple and engaging circle dance to signal unity in our work in combating climate change. 12.30

- The Climate Quartet and sing along at 4.30

- Klimatkärringarna och Vädergubbarna

- Youth Initiative program YIP - program soon coming

- The Stair from 390 to 350, a visualization in the big stairs of Sergels torg of what it would take to decrease the level of CO2 in the atmosphere

- Meatfree Monday; It matters what you eat! Choose Meatfree Monday for the environment, people, health and animals.
- The film Home will be shown.

Event Host: The core group of this event is a cooperation between major actors within the enviromental movements in Sweden - Climat Action (Klimataktion), Greenpeace, WWF, Svenska Naturskyddsföreningen, Fältbiologerna. The network was formed for the tcktcktck process leading up to Copenhagen. We also toke part in the 350 event last autumn and are still working with the COP-processes.
