Swaddee 350

Swaddee is a Thai Greetings Word wishing a good health, a happy day. Swaddee 350 means if everyone is aiming to keep 350 ppm of CO2, our world will be a happy place to live in.

In this year on the 10/10/10, the two municipalities, namely, Chiangrai Municipality and Thungsong Municipality planed to organize half a day campaign in their cities in reducing CO2 and methane gases. The reduction of GHG will be concentrating on solid waste and waste water management, urban non-motorised transport and promoting urban forestry, urban agriculture and urban biodiversity. Each city is expecting around 700-1,000 people participating in the campaign. Thailand Environment Insititute is coordinating the campaign.
