Sunday, 10 October, 2010 - 13:00 - 15:00
Earth School is a small alternative school located on the campus of Hilltop Hanover Farm, a working farm and environmental education center run by Westchester County. Students of the school and the Blue Star youth group will "demonstrate to the public how we are playing our part, from our seesaw pump to our pedal-a-watt bike, from our solar fountain to our low-wind power system, from our free-ranging chickens to their greenroof coop, from our compost to our organic gardens, we're helping to tell leaders: 'We're getting to work--what about you?'"
