“Earth and Water, our planet, our life”

The “Earth and Water, our planet, our life” project, based on the theme “Our Environment”, has been designed to emphasize our individual and community responsibility for consciously doing our part in protecting our sensitive environment.

To this effect, we have been seeking participation from children , youth, artists, photographers, and other individuals who would be willing to artistically express their concerns and ideas for a better future.

Participants will receive a clay pot, paint, and brushes for the Visual Arts phase of the project. An art instructor will be available to provide guidance and assistance. Once the pot is painted each participant will advance to the Nature phase of the project. There they will be provided with potting soil, water, and a 10” plant for them to place in the pot. Participants will take their potted plant home with them and are urged to place the plant in the ground once it starts to outgrow the pot. This stage of the project completes the experience of “Art and Nature Entwined”.
