White Roofs Energy Saving 10:10 Work Day
Sunday, 10 October, 2010 (All day)
Stop Oil! is teaming up with the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, 350.org, Oxfam Action Corps, Hazon, COEJL and the 10:10:10 campaign to put on a huge NYC work day with the White Roofs Project. You can sign up for a morning or afternoon shift on any of several days painting the black roof of a school white, saving massive amounts of energy, carbon emissions, and education funding. PLEASE REGISTER AT http://tinyurl.com/101010nyc if you are a member of the general public and http://tinyurl.com/101010nycnyu if you are affiliated with NYU (since you'll be painting a second roof).
