Tree Planting by EV -Working towards a world of 350!

Our tree planting will begin by first meeting at Oshima-Ohno Station. (This will be the new Shinkansen Hakodate Station in 2015.) Planters will be shuttled from here in Mitsubishi' new electric vehicle; iMiEV up to the top of Mt. Kijihiki where we will plant 100 beech trees. After the planting we will take a photo of the planters, the iMiEV and a "350" banner. This photo will then be sent to 350.org.
We chose Mt. Kijihiki because we are poposing a community wind farm for this mountain to power a Ride-the-Wind shuttle train to connect the new Hakodate station with the old station (18km).
