In last night’s State of the Union Address, Obama recognized that climate change is a fact. But he isn’t acting like it. He has yet to reject the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline and still promotes fossil fuels like natural gas.

Obama said, “When our children’s children look us in the eye and ask if we did all we could to leave them a safer, more stable world, with new sources of energy, I want us to be able to say yes, we did.”

Mr. President, if that were true, you’d recognize that more oil means more disasters for communities and the climate.
