On October 26th the Sunday School children at South Church in Andover, UCC, took turns ringing the church bell 350 times to call attention to the importance of reducing carbon emissions.

All parishioners will ring bells in church on that December 14th while the outside large bell is ringing outside. Good stewardship of our Earth will be the topic of the sermon that day.

We plan to have Bishop Cederholm be part of the bell ringing, with at least 35 member volunteers of all ages ringing our steeple bell on Sunday, November 23, 2008, between 12 and 12:30 PM.

On Sunday December 14, 2008 St. Martin-in-the-Fields and St. Paul’s, the Episcopal Churches of Chestnut Hill, in Philadelphia will join forces to toll their church bells 350 times. Why 350?
