Send David to Copenhagen!

The Huffington Post is currently running an online contest to choose an ambassador to represent Hopenhagen.org in Copenhagen, and many great candidates are in the running. One of them is 350.org's David Kroodsma, who has been helping us develop web content in 17 different languages. Below is more about him. You can vote for him here.

David has bicycled 21,000 miles across North and South America to raise awareness of global warming. During this journey, David gave over 150 global warming presentations at schools and community centers, and also appeared in national and international media outlets across the hemisphere. David has a master's degree in climate science, is a published scientist, and has worked as a climate researcher at the Carnegie Institution for Science. He has a book about his journey and the impacts of climate change due out in 2010. The book draws on interviews with individuals from the sixteen countries that David biked across.

And here's a video of David in the 350.org office. Note that David doesn't realize that the relevant link is not to the right of this video.
