The World Wants a Real Deal
There's a global mobilization—organized by many different groups in the TckTckTck coalition and the Global Climate Campaign—planned for the weekend of December 12 - right in the middle of the Copenhagen climate conference.
There will be big rallies on Saturday in many cities around the globe, and on Sunday communities of faith the world over will ring church bells, beat drums, blow horns -- all 350 times.
At 350.org, our focus for the weekend is on coordinating candlelight vigils at iconic and strategic locations around the world on Friday and Saturday night. Read the invitation from Bill McKibben here, and sign up to organize a vigil in your community by clicking here. To search for a vigil in your area, click here.
