“We are winning the war.”

Jefferey Shihembetsa comes from Kakamega Kenya and is now part of the 350 team in Kenya. He is a youthful leader who believes, beyond doubt that we are already winning the war on climate change. With his high spirits on the winning side, he had this to add, “Yes, we are winning the war but only if climate change research papers are turned into policies and those policies turned into frameworks and implemented by the right people.”

“Many have been displaced. Increase in floods and food shortages. The animals died, the rice production went down. In unity we have realised to fight the phenomena. The hope to have a better “Nando” home is still alive, I started alone but together we have more. Climate change is real.”
