Fracking Kern County, California.

Colorful playground with red, yellow, and green equipment including slides, climbing structures, and monkey bars set against a clear blue sky with open fields in the background.

Governor Jerry Brown thinks fracking has zero impact on Californians. We beg to differ, and so do the people who live in the state’s most-fracked county:

Fracking is bad for our climate and bad for people. We’re calling on Governor Brown to ban fracking, but we don’t want him to just hear it from us. Residents of Kern County are calling on Governor Brown to come see the impacts of fracking for himself. Join them & sign the petition here: 350.org/KernCounty

Big thanks to Bunker Films for the video, to the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment for their leadership, and to the residents of Kern County for speaking out.
