Break Free from Fossil Fuels: Hundreds of people gather in the Niger Delta to demand an end to drilling for oil. Around the world, the week of action organized by 350.org brings together more than 30,000 people in 20 countries, calling for the world to break free from oil, gas, and coal. Solar XL Campaign: 350.org works with local communities to build solar panels on the route of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline. Renewable Energy For Communities: 350 local group Ghana-Reducing our Carbon brings together women’s groups, students and communities, to promote renewable energy, prompting local governments to increase decentralized wind and solar energy in district development plans, and demonstrating how Ghana can meet its emission reduction targets.
