Not only are oil companies like TotalEnergies causing the extreme heat and other climate impacts we are facing across the globe, but they are actively displacing and disrupting the livelihoods of people in Tanzania and Uganda through their role as a major stakeholder in the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP).

As we saw at last week’s protest, it’s clear we’re getting under TotalEnergies’ skin. To convince them to finally drop EACOP, we have to keep our momentum going.
