As citizens around the world sound the alarm for climate action, we though it woudl be a great day to highlight the amazing contributions that musicians are making to the 350 movement – this week we’ll be highlighting and profiling various initiatives being lead by musicians worldwide.  If you have musician friends, please pass along to them this letter, urging them to get involved.  Today, we start with two very dedicated and wonderful musicians, Seth Bernard and May Erlewine – listen to the songs, and read the blog from 350 Director Bill McKibben:

Seth Bernard and May Erlewine are my kind of artists. Not only are they superb musicians–legends in the upper midwest–but they are absolutely committed to using their music to make change happen. A year ago I met them in Traverse City Michigan, and was floored by their stuff. I asked if they’d write something for 350, and they responded with not one but two of the best pieces of music we’ve heard in this whole campaign. They’re yours to use  when you’re holding rallies–or just to listen to so you can get psyched up as you plan for Oct. 24. The sheet music is there for May’s 350 Getdown; there’s even a short bonus Oct. 24 clip perfect for use with Youtube videos you might be creating. Take this music and make change with it, please!

And 350 thanks to Seth and May and all the musicians who joined with them, including Luke Winslow-King on electric guitar, slide guitar, and fender rhodes; Jake Robinson on electric guitar; Carolyn Koebl on drums; Todd Kloosterman on bass, and Dave Ward on vocals.
