# Demand an ambitious climate plan from the EU

The EU is deciding its climate plan for the next five years. Floods and wildfires devastated Europe in 2024 – it must get this right.

This is our chance to demand bold action. **We need a plan that will protect our communities and future generations from the worst impacts of climate change.**

**We demand the EU’s plan:**

- **Phase out fossil fuels**
- **Massively and rapidly invest in fair, renewable energy**
- **Support poorer communities—everywhere—to finance the transition to renewables**

The momentum behind the transition to renewables is unstoppable, but we can’t leave it to chance. With a climate-denying President in the US, the EU must step up.
