Forests play an important role for wildlife and humans alike but climate change will not spare our forests. Zaara Kidwai, Programme Officer from The Corbett Foundation along with her colleagues went to a location where a fire had recently ravaged the forest to stand in solidarity with Climate Impacts Day. The fact is, excessive heat dries our forests thus making them vulnerable to catching fire.

They chose a recently burnt forest land in Ram Nagar forest division to divert attention of people towards the urgent need of preventing a huge loss both in terms of lives and resources.
