Just over a month ago, people all over the world organized more than 7,000 events across the world as part of the 10/10/10 Global Work Party. Across Africa and the Middle East, the two regions that I work in, we saw hundreds of tree-plantings and solar installations, bike rides and community garden projects. Perhaps the largest 10/10/10 work party took place in Lagos, Nigeria, where a volunteer organizer Tunji attempted to beat the Guiness record for largest collaborative art project. We don't know if he made a record, but the photos are stunning (see below), and remind me why we're helping organize 350 eARTh projects in over a dozen cities next week.
