Join us in Washington, DC on January 17 to start off the year by sending Democrats a message they can’t ignore: it’s time for a Green New Deal.
Right after the 2018 elections, thousands of young people organized sit-ins at Democratic leaders’ offices demanding they listen to the demands of science and justice and take bold climate action.
Backed by a new, diverse, and growing slate of elected leaders like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Green New Deal would create millions of good-paying jobs building a just, rapid transition to 100% renewable energy in the timeline we need to avert the worst impacts of climate change.
Our movement’s actions have already completely changed the scope of what’s possible, and helped define the kind of bold policy new progressive members of Congress are willing to fight for to achieve a just, green economy.
