One of our big allies in this effort is Anna Lappe, author of <em>Diet for a Hot Planet<\/em>. Anna is one of the judges of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatpowerrace.org\" target=\"_blank\">Great Power Race<\/a>, to help focus on the role that food plays on campus sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, a brand-new online film came out from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whyhunger.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">WhyHunger<\/a>, called, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whyhunger.org\/programs\/fslc\/topics\/climate-change-a-the-food-system.html\" target=\"_blank\">&ldquo;The Food and Climate Connection: From Heating the Planet to Healing It.&rdquo;<\/a><br \/>\n<object height=\"300\" width=\"400\"><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"movie\" value=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=11923174&amp;server=vimeo.com&amp;show_title=1&amp;show_byline=1&amp;show_portrait=0&amp;color=&amp;fullscreen=1\" \/><embed allowfullscreen=\"true\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=11923174&amp;server=vimeo.com&amp;show_title=1&amp;show_byline=1&amp;show_portrait=0&amp;color=&amp;fullscreen=1\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"400\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>It highlights the impact of today&rsquo;s global food system on the climate and how a community-based food movement around the world is bringing to life a way of farming and eating that&rsquo;s better for our bodies and the planet.
