Some of the volunteers who helped dismantle an old greenhouse so that two solar collectors can be installed in its place to heat the buildings in a facility where area residents will learn how to grow healthy food locally.<\/p>\n

The Interfaith Community for the Earth teamed up with the Central River Farmshed to help with the Greenhouse Project. Farmshed is repurposing a property that contains several greenhouses. We helped them move toward a solar powered facility that doesn’t depend of fossil fuels and that also reduces carbon dioxide emissions by eliminating the need to ship food to Central Wisconsin from hundreds and thousands of miles away.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
