On 10/10/10, the talented young organizers behind 350Dominicana.org and their allies Green Love in the Dominican Republic got together to launch a pilot recycling program in a school in their capitol, Santo Domingo.  Together with local artists, they painted the first recycling bins and installed them in the school, starting the first such program in the country.  Today the local newspaper reports that the program has now spread to 3 major schools in the capitol, reaching 20,000 people through the students and their families.  We're excited to see the work of creating solutions in our communities continuing from the Global Work Party, and want to send a big congratulations to the organizers!  For more:
