CNN aired a great little segment the other day, featuring some of the powerful organizing from our friends in the Maldives. Many will likely remember the [underwater cabinet meeting](https://www.350.org/maldives) held by [President Nasheed](https://www.350.org/nasheed) and his cabinet in the lead-up to the [24th of October](https://www.350.org/october24). Neither the Maldivian government, nor the country's citizens have stopped there. The country is charging ahead with plans to be [carbon neutral](https://www.350.org/about/blogs/maldives-first-country-go-carbon-neutral) by 2020, including President Nasheed [pledging](https://putsolaron.it/maldives/) to be up on the roof of the official President's residence installing solar panels for 10/10/10. And now people across the country are rallying to donate money to [flood relief](https://www.350.org/disasters) in Pakistan, all with a keen awareness of the threats they themselves face as a result of our changing climate.
