Washington, DC — In response to today’s federal court ruling allowing a lawsuit to move forward against the Trump administration’s border-crossing permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, 350.org Executive Director May Boeve gave the following statement:
“Here is yet another reason that the path for Keystone XL is far from cleared. Now the federal permit for this pipeline — which Trump made one of his first orders of business — will face the scrutiny of a court of law. TransCanada can expect to see more and more challenges, in the courts and in the streets, to this disastrous project. We’re not going anywhere until this pipeline is gone for good.”
