In response to Federal Environment Minister Catherine McKenna’s letter to BC Environment Minister George Heyman, Clayton Thomas-Muller, 350.org Stop-it-at-the-Source campaigner, issued this statement:
“Catherine McKenna is admitting the government’s review was incomplete. Taken with the news that broke this week about how the federal government ignored Indigenous voices and rigged the Kinder Morgan review, it’s clear that this review needs to be redone. The time for scientific panels and joint projects was during the project’s review, not when you’re trying to use public money to bail out Texas billionaires.”
