O an\u00fancio foi feito, nesta semana, no evento Sun World 2019, no Peru. A perspectiva \u00e9 de um aumento 40 vezes maior. Isto significa que dever\u00e1 passar de 7 GW a mais de 281 GW na regi\u00e3o. Para chegar nestes resultados, os investimentos anuais devem ser da ordem de US$ 7 bilh\u00f5es. No Brasil, principalmente a regi\u00e3o Nordeste tem batido a marca de gera\u00e7\u00e3o instant\u00e2nea, como a anunciada no \u00faltimo dia 12, pela Operadora Nacional de Sistema El\u00e9trico (NOS), com a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de 1.210 MW \u00e0s 10h33, que corresponde a um fator de capacidade de 95,3%.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No momento avaliado, o pico representava 9,9% da carga da regi\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neste cen\u00e1rio otimista, a energia solar figurar\u00e1 em segundo lugar atr\u00e1s da e\u00f3lica e representar\u00e1 um quarto da produ\u00e7\u00e3o global. Ao mesmo tempo, o custo global nivelado de eletricidade (LCOE, em ingl\u00eas) para a fonte solar seguir\u00e1 numa curva de diminui\u00e7\u00e3o, passando de uma m\u00e9dia de US$ 0,85\/kWh em 2018 para um valor entre US$ 0,05 a US$ 0,14\/kWh at\u00e9 2050.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este quadro, segundo a an\u00e1lise, \u00e9 favor\u00e1vel para as metas de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es de Gases de Efeito Estufa (GEES), que integram o Acordo de Paris, e ser\u00e3o discutidas na Confer\u00eancia das Partes da Conven\u00e7\u00e3o-Quadro das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas sobre Mudan\u00e7a do Clima (COP-25), em Madri, no m\u00eas de dezembro. A implanta\u00e7\u00e3o acelerada de energia solar fotovoltaica, juntamente com a eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o profunda, tem o potencial de fornecer 21% das redu\u00e7\u00f5es de emiss\u00e3o de CO\u2082, que correspondem a praticamente 4,9 gigatoneladas por ano no mesmo per\u00edodo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Francesco La Camera, diretor geral da Irena, avalia que esta tend\u00eancia s\u00f3 ser\u00e1 fortalecida com pol\u00edticas s\u00f3lidas. Segundo o executivo, a ind\u00fastria solar global tem potencial para empregar mais de 18 milh\u00f5es de pessoas at\u00e9 na metade deste s\u00e9culo, que corresponde a quatro vezes mais de empregos atualmente. No escopo global, o relat\u00f3rio avalia que o mercado asi\u00e1tico ter\u00e1 ainda a predomin\u00e2ncia, com destaque para a China, com mais de 50% da capacidade instalada neste per\u00edodo, seguida da Am\u00e9rica do Norte (20%) e da Europa (10%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais um ponto destacado por Camera, \u00e9 quanto \u00e0 capacidade instalada de energia solar fora da rede, que expandiu mundialmente mais de dez vezes, passando de 0,25 GW no ano de 2008 para 3 GW em 2018. Investimentos neste setor v\u00eam ao encontro dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas (ODS\/ONU).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Brasil, em particular, foi instalada uma pol\u00eamica nos \u00faltimos meses com a possibilidade de maior taxa\u00e7\u00e3o para mini e microgera\u00e7\u00e3o distribu\u00edda (veja tamb\u00e9m <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/350.org\/pt\/na-contramao-das-renovaveis-aneel-propoe-ajuste-regulatorio-para-mini-e-micro-geracao-distribuida-de-energia-solar\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na contram\u00e3o das renov\u00e1veis, Aneel prop\u00f5e ajuste regulat\u00f3rio para mini e microgera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia solar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).
